Summertime is fund time
Introducing RPB’s newly expanded Tier 1 funds
Available July 15
Meet the new (and newly renamed) Tier 1 funds

The three existing Tier 1 funds have new names.
We’ve added two new funds: the RPB Moderate Growth Fund and the RPB Moderate Income Fund.
Note too that the Tier 1 funds are now called Target Allocation Funds. (They were previously called Objective-Based Funds.)
An important refresher: How to use Tier 1 funds
Our Tier 1 funds are built for RPB participants who want a simple way to invest. They provide a complete, diversified portfolio in a single fund. That is, you will likely need only one of the new Tier 1 funds to achieve the asset allocation you want.
For those currently invested in Tier 1
Because the fund names are changing, you’ll see a transaction on your statement selling the old fund and buying the new fund. This is a change in name only.
If you make no changes to your investments, you’ll stay invested in the Tier 1 fund(s) you previously selected. But with a new expanded lineup—and because it’s important to periodically check in on your investment strategy—you may want to review your new choices and make adjustments.
Selecting a fund from the new Tier 1 lineup
If you are investing in Tier 1, simply select the one fund that aligns most closely to your current investment objective, time horizon, and tolerance for risk, and you’re done! You’ll have a diversified portfolio for your RPB retirement plan.

Take note: A critical element of investment selection is time horizon—the period you expect to hold an investment to achieve a specific goal. (For example, the amount of time before you retire.) Investors who have a longer time horizon will have more time to recover from market downturns.
Building a customized portfolio with multiple Tier 1 funds
If your circumstances call for a customized portfolio, you can select from the funds in any of our three tiers. Our Tier 2 and Tier 3 funds have not changed.
